Project Overview:

LH is a recording studio designed to support both technical precision and creative expression within a controlled and focused environment. The objective was to create a space that allows users to work efficiently while maintaining clarity, comfort, and minimal distraction.

The design needed to prioritise performance while still feeling considered and usable over long periods. Acoustic requirements, spatial organisation, and visual simplicity all played a role in shaping an environment that supports both production and creativity. The space was approached with restraint, ensuring that every element serves a purpose while maintaining a clear and structured overall composition.

Challenge:

The space required high functionality for recording while maintaining a clean, distraction-free environment that supports creative work.

Approach:

We organised the layout to clearly separate key functions while maintaining easy movement between them. Materials were selected to support acoustic performance while keeping the visual language minimal and controlled. The design focused on removing unnecessary elements, allowing the space to remain clear and efficient. Attention was given to proportion and spacing to ensure comfort during extended use.

Outcome:

The final space feels focused, controlled, and purpose-driven. It supports both technical performance and creative flow without distraction. Users are able to work with clarity and ease, within an environment that feels structured, balanced, and aligned with its function.
